We don't usually torcher our kids with tedious work on the weekends, but with all the rain lately, our yard needed a little tlc. So we got the whole family in on it. Mailee did such a great job weeding the flower garden and enjoyed doing it. She was so good and didn't even eat the dirt... HUH???
Then came Ella, I just could not keep her out of the dirt. I'd move her far away and she would get those pudgy little legs working so fast so she could get back to the important work at hand, and the next thing you know she was back in it!...
Now if you look closely at this picture you can see what she was doing with all the dirt. Eating it of course, what else would a 10 month old do with it?! She would put it in her mouth then push it all back out with her tongue after she got a taste of it. The funny thing is, she kept doing it. Nothing that a good bath can't fix, right!
We eventually had to take off her dress because it was full of dirt. I thought how clever she was to crawl on all fours this way, so she didn't kill her knees. What a little cutie!!

Looks like fun! Wish you were all close so you could come and work in our yard. It could use it. Keep the cute pictures coming. Sure do miss you.
